What is Delta 8 THC?
Delta 8 THC is an isomer of CBD and another cannabinoid found in hemp and hemp extracts. While Δ8THC and Δ9THC have similar names, they are distinctly different compounds with distinctly different characteristics, and there are clear-cut reasons why Δ8THC was made fully federally legal by H.R. 2: The Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 and Δ9THC was limited to a maximum content of 0.3%.

Differences in Terpenes We Use
Botanical Derived Terpenes
These terpenes are typically sourced from fruits and plants other than hemp or cannabis and may also contain flavorings. They will have a more artificial flavor taste that is great for those who dislike the earthiness of HDTs or stronger tasting CDTs (Cannabis-derived terpenes). They also tend to have a milder odor, as opposed to the HDTs and Cannabis-derived Live Resin Terpenes we carry.

Hemp-Derived Terpenes
These terpenes are taken directly from the hemp plant. HDTs tend to have a less potent smell than Cannabis-derived terpenes with a wider variety of compounds and terpenes than botanical-derived terpenes. This is typically better for those looking for a more well-rounded “entourage effect”.

Cannabis-Derived Live Resin Terpenes
These terpenes are taken from freshly harvested cannabis.  The cannabis is loaded into an extractor within one hour of processing. Inside the extractor, the cannabis biomass is chilled to subzero temperatures to maximize terpene integrity. Once the extraction process is completed, the terpenes are separated from everything else inside a classified centrifuge and then purified under steam distillation to remove any remain impurities. CDLRTs have the purest taste and smell of all the different terpene types and are for individuals looking to experience the highest of quality and the most authentic experience.
