What battery is compatible with our Delta 8 THC vapes?

Similar to most vape products, our Delta 8 THC vape cartridges are compatible with any 510-threaded battery. Batteries must be purchased separately and are not included with our vape products. Vulcan HempWorks can set you up with the best of the best to get your vape experience off on the right foot. We offer CCELL- branded batteries and mods on our website.

What is CCELL and why do you use it?

All of our Vulcan carts are CCELL-branded. Why? To put it simply, CCELL is the best. They’ve been around since 2012 and are the gold standard in nanoceramics. CCELL gives you the best flavor delivery and the most effective vapor by using ceramic interiors to replace the wick-based coil used by many other vape companies. The disposable design requires no maintenance, no leakage, and a clean experience.

Help! Why is my vape cartridge clogging?

Typically, clogging occurs when condensation forms inside the inner cartridge. Excess oil seepage can also result in clogs, preventing you from drawing air through your mouthpiece.

How do I prevent my vape cartridge from clogging?

Simple – take shallow, brief hits. Don’t let your vape cartridge get too hot. Leaving it in your car during the day? Not a good idea.

Why does my cartridge taste burnt?

A bad taste while vaping can ruin your experience. To prevent this, a good rule of thumb is to always make sure your vape cartridge is fully primed before using it for the first time. If you skip this step, you might find yourself with a burned out coil – not good.

A few things to keep in mind before firing up your Vulcan Hempworks cart for the first time:

Those 4 holes at the base of the cartridge? Those are called “intake holes.” You want to make sure they’re fully covered with oil before using your cart. This is important. Park your cartridge fully upright and wait for the oil to fully soak the coil. If the oil is thick, this may take up to 24 hours. Be patient – your Vulcan cart is worth the wait. Short on time? We get it. One tip is to take a hairdryer and aim that bad boy at the bottom half of your cartridge for a minute or two until those intake holes are fully covered.

Are the intake holes covered? Great. You’ll then want to take 1-2 seconds to let your cart fire up, then take a quick hit (remember – short, shallow hits are best!) Do you get vapor? Success! You’re good to go.

What is CBD?

You’ve seen the name CBD, you’ve heard it mentioned, it seems like everyone you know is singing its praises. But – what even IS CBD?? Brief science lesson: CBD (or cannabidiol, as it’s known in the science world) is a compound found in the cannabis plant which has been proven time and time again to have numerous therapeutic benefits. We’re talking *numerous*. It’s been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of ailments, and there are currently several government-backed studies being conducted on its many uses. Since CBD can be mixed with other parts of the cannabis plant to change or enhance the effects, Vulcan HempWorks sometimes uses terpenes (see below question) in our products.

What are terpenes?

We’re glad you asked. Terpenes are often a defining factor in whether you “click” with a specific cannabis strain. Terpenes are essentially flavorful, aromatic oils that exist to lure pollinators and repel predators in the natural world. That’s right – terpenes are everywhere, including all produce and vegetation. Cannabis terpenes are thought to play a role in differentiating the effects of each strain! #themoreyouknow

Why are there terpenes and minor cannabinoids in my CBD and Delta 8 products?

Short answer? The terpenes and minor cannabinoids give you a better, more enjoyable, and more effective experience. Longer answer? Vulcan HempWorks CBD and Delta 8 products benefit from what is known in the CBD world as the “Entourage Effect.” What does this mean? Several compounds from the cannabis plant come together with other compounds from the plant to increase potency. The more potent a product we can provide, the more effective your product can be.

How do I take a tincture?

Tinctures are intended to be taken under the tongue. When using orally, place the desired amount under your tongue and hold it in place for 60-90 seconds before swallowing.

What is MCT and why is it in my tinctures?

You might have seen MCT in health and wellness stores, but what is it exactly? MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) is an organic coconut-derived carrier oil. We use MCT oil in our tincture line to capitalize on the oil’s ability to help deliver the hemp compounds into your body effectively as it digests easily. Note – we NEVER use MCT oil in our vape cartridges (see below question).

Does Vulcan HempWorks use cutting agents in its vape products?

NO. We only use the finest Delta 8 distillates and terpenes to make our vape products. We never use PG, VG, PEG, Vitamin E acetate, MCT oil, or any other commonly used cutting agents. Why? We believe in delivering the best, purest products that meet (or exceed!) the strictest lab testing and quality standards.

Why do I need to enter my age at checkout?

Why do I need to sign for a vape cartridge delivery?

The PACT Act, signed into legislation in October 2021, implemented additional requirements to the shipping of vape and tobacco products. Vulcan HempWorks complies fully with all federal requirements and one of those requirements is that vape deliveries must be signed for upon delivery.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! If you order more than $50 worth of product, Vulcan HempWorks will make your shipping free. USPS does not require signatures for packages that do not contain vape cartridges.

What is Excise Tax?

All vape products (also known as Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems or ENDS) are subject to a special tax because of the PACT Act’s (Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking Act of 2009) 2021 amendment to the Jenkins Act. This act revises provisions governing the collection of taxes on and trafficking in, cigarettes and smokeless tobacco. ENDS is now defined by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) as “any electronic device that, through an aerosolized solution, delivers nicotine, flavor, or any other substance to the user inhaling from the device.”
